The port of Rosslare is on the southeastern coast of Ireland and is known as Rosslare Europort. The port has been very active since the early 1900s and serves passenger routes to France and Scotland. Inside the ferry terminal, passengers can take advantage of many services, such as ticket offices, sanitary services and baby change, wifi, disabled assistance.
How to reach the port of Rosslare
The port is 20 minutes from the city of Wexford, an hour and a half from the town of Waterford, 2 hours and 15 minutes from Dublin and 3 hours from Cork. Once you arrive in Rosslare, if you are travelling by car, follow the N25 towards Porto, and at the end of this road, you will find the terminal, well marked by road signs. For those who need to leave their car, the port offers ample paid parking, it is possible to buy a ticket from vending machines, it must be done upon departure; rates are € 5 per day. The train station is about 15 minutes away from the terminal, and there are connections to Dublin. Right in front of the terminal, there is a bus service that connects with Dublin and leaves every hour. The nearest international airport is Dublin which is 130 kilometres away.
