Pets can travel in a carrier, pet kennel, or a pet-friendly cabin. Animals weighing over 8 kg (up to 20 kg on some ships) must use a kennel or a pet-friendly cabin. Those weighing under 8 kg can travel in a pet bag, but they are not allowed in certain areas such as children’s zones, restaurants, bars, and lounges.
Pets must be kept on a leash, and a muzzle is recommended in public areas. Dangerous animals are not permitted. The pet owner is responsible for the health and well-being of the animal and for any damage caused on board.
If your pet stays in the vehicle during the crossing, no additional ticket is required, but you must inform the staff at check-in.
