It is very sweet... so be warned!  Another pudding with Ottoman roots and based on various cereals is Ashura (pronounced ashure), otherwise known as Noah's pudding. It is a Turkish dessert of Armenian origin and is known as the oldest desert in the world, legend has it that it was actually Noah who made this pudding first - hence the name. It is similar to rice pudding - warm and comforting.
