The island of Agathonissi is in the north of the Dodecanese archipelago. Ferries leave from Agios Georgios, which is a small port in the south of the island. There is also another small jetty for private yachts and boats that is located in the eastern part pf the island. At the ferry port there are some restaurants and shops and three taverns near the port, the most popular being Glaros.
